Ulytau route
Zhezkazgan - Ulytau, 130 km (on the highway). In the village of Ulytau you can visit: Tanbaly tas park - Khanov square - Ulytau reserve-museum - Bes ays alley - Gasyr terek historical place - monuments to B. Bulkyshev and M. At the entrance to Ulytau, the excursion begins with a visit to the Tanbaly Tas park, then a monument reflecting Kazakh clans, stone sculptures and a monument dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory. After, the excursion continues in the center of the village, where tourists can visit the square of the Kazakh Khans and get acquainted with the exposition of the Ulytau reserve-museum.

Historically, the place - the hundred-year-old tree "Gasyr Terek" is located along Imanzhan Street on the river bank. According to legend, great personalities stopped at this tree, tied their horses to it, tired their thirst and set off again.
On Abai street, tourists can visit the monuments to B. Bulkyshev and M. Imanzhanov. Ulytau natives Baubek Bulkyshev and Mukan Imanzhanov were real friends. Baubek was a publicist, writer, died a heroic death during the Great Patriotic War. Mukan Imanzhanov is a writer.

Aulietau is considered the highest mountain in Ulytau. Its height is 1135 meters. Since ancient times, the mountain has been considered sacred, a place of communication with the Almighty. Seven holy healers are buried here. In addition, on this mountain there is a cave of the founder of Zoroastrianism - Zerdesh (Zarathushtra).
