"Ulytau Kymyzy" is an ethnocultural festival in the context of which cultural practices related to the horse culture are held. Within the framework of the ethno-festival were presented national ceremonies ("Biebailau", "Kymyzmнryndyk"), also an exhibition of dishes of nomads, master classes on various types of crafts.
The ethnic festival "Ulytau Kymyzy" has a 5-year history under the name "Tersakkan Spring". This year, the traditional event is timed to coincide with the International Specialized Exhibition "EXPO-2017", and includes a demonstration of the ceremony "bee bailau", "aygyr kosu" and "kymyzmuryndyk" The above ceremonies were included in the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Kazakhstan in 2015. In order to be included in the representative list of the cultural heritage of humanity in March 2017, it was proposed to consider the cycle of UNESCO rites from the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2018, it is planned to introduce solemn ceremonies of the ethnic festival called "Traditional spring festivities of Kazakh horse breeders".
