On our website you will find unique information about the historical, cultural and rich natural heritage of Ulytau.
We invite you to get acquainted with the history of the epicenter of the nomadic civilization "Great Steppe"! You will get acquainted with the monuments that have become objects of the "Sacral Map" of Kazakhstan: the mausoleums of Alashakhan, Joshy Khan, the Dombauyl necropolis, the historical monument "the place of the Bulanty battle", the Auliyetau peak, the Terekty petroglyphs, the Yedige mountain, the Altynshoky peak of Kazakh statehood - which have become symbols of the history of Kazakh statehood. We have developed tourist routes in several directions have been specially for you. You will be surprised by the almost cosmic landscape of the natural landscape of Ulytau, the unique flora and fauna of the region.
The site highlights the activities of the staff of the reserve-museum, presented in several directions: protection, preservation, popularization of heritage and development of tourism.
The reserve-museum initiated and successfully implemented projects: International expedition “Ulytau murasy", International ethnofestival “Tersakkan spring", initiated the ethnographic research "Traditional spring festivals of horse breeders" in the Ulytau region, that was included in the representative list of the World Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO. Participation in world tourism exhibitions has become traditional, the exposition of "Ulytau" was demonstrated in London, Barcelona, Tokyo. "Ulytau"  reserve-museum is the regional representative of QazaqGeography in the Karaganda region.
The construction of the visit center of the reserve-museum was another milestone on the way to the goal of making Ulytau a center of attraction for international and regional tourism. This small complex with an information room, children's playroom, conference rooms, a small hotel and a dining room is the first step towards the development of a powerful hospitality infrastructure. Currently, conditions are being created for training and advanced training of specialist guides and hotel service. The head of our country, speaking at the International Tourism Forum "Ulytau-2019", noted the "huge potential for the development of ethnographic, pilgrimage and ecological tourism" of our region.

Information about the director of the National Historical, Cultural and Natural Reserve-Museum "Ulytau"
Kasymbekov Nurlan Zholaushinovich was born on June 11, 1969 in the Ulytau region.
 In 2007 he graduated from the Eurasian National University named after N. Gumilyov, Nur-Sultan city, specializing in teacher-psychologist.
 He began his career in 1987 as a projectionist at the Ulytau regional institution of the Cinema System.
 From 1987 to 1989 he served in the ranks of the Soviet Army, in 1989 he was an engineer at the Ulytau regional institution of the Cinema System, in 1999 he was a senior engineer of this institution.
 In 2002 he was a coach of the Ulytau regional sports school.
 In 2005, a senior counselor-psychologist at secondary school No. 21 of the Tselinograd district.
 In 2008-2011 he worked as a junior editor, editor and senior editor at JSC NC "Kazakh akparat".
From July 2011 to July 2021 he worked as mayor of the Orazak rural district of the Tselinograd district. Since July 26, 2021, acting director of the Ulytau National Historical, Cultural and Natural Reserve-Museum.
