Ethnographic research
Over the past five years, studies have been carried out on the Bie Bailau, Aigyr Kosu and Kumysmuryndyk ceremonies in the Tersakkan village of the National Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO and ISESCO. Every year ethnographers, anthropologists, and culturologists hold a number of events aimed at collecting text, photo and video materials for further detailed study.
In 2018, it is planned to introduce the 48-element ceremonies into the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity under the name "Traditional Spring Festivals of Kazakh Horse Breeders".
During the research work, the chairman of the National Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of the National Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan for UNESCO and ISESCO, Esenova Khanzada Azimkhanovna, Researcher of the National Historical, Cultural and Natural Reserve Museum "Ulytau", Researcher of the National Committee for the Protection intangible cultural heritage of the Republic of Kazakhstan UNESCO - Emma Usmanova, Researcher of the National Historical, Cultural and Natural Reserve-Museum "Ulytau" and the National Committee for World Heritage - Elena Khorosh, Ph.D. heritage under the National Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan for UNESCO and ISESCO - Shaygozova Zhanerke, candidate of art history, member of the Artists' Union of Artists, expert of the National Committee for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage under the National Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan for UNESCO and ISESCO - Sultanova Madina, D. Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Specialist in Horses and Nomad Customs - Ahmet Toktabai.
