Route. “Akmechet Auliyetau”

Auliyetau.The top of Ulytau mountain. It is situated 2 km far from Ulytau village. The local folklore says that the top of Aulietau mountain touches the sky, and that is the place where the Sky and the Land meet, and that is why since the ancient times the mountain is considered as a sacral place, the abode of gods and ghosts. This is the place of constantly active sacred powers and rites, the place of connection of a man with the nature on the very thin level. 
Auliye Ungir. (holy cave). It is situated on the top of the Auliyetau mountain on the suburbs of Ulytau village. According to the legend the steppe prophet Zaratushtry (the founder of Zoroastrianizm) got his first revelation in this cave. Pilgrims spend nights in the cave, among them there are many childless women. 
Yem bulak is a spring. It is situated 1 km far from Ulaytau village to the west. According to the popular believes the spring has healing properties.
Assan Kaigy. The height of this monument is 15 meters. It is situated in Ulytau village. It was built in honor of   the steppe philosopher Assan Kaigy lived in XIV century. He travelled to many lands of steppe Eurasia and came to the conclusion that there was no better land for the Kazakh than Ulytau. On the legend he was buried on one of the tops of Ulytau.
