Opening of the personal exhibition of Dmitry Rugis, a photographer of the Ulytau reserve-museum, took place in Almaty

- In Almaty, in Arman cinema center, there was the presentation of the personal photo exhibition of Dmitry Rugis, the photographer of the Ulytau reserve-museum, timed to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- The exhibition presents a series of photographs by Dmitry under the title “Kazakhstanis”. Most of the heroes of the photos are residents of the Ulytau district of the Karaganda region, simple laborers, schoolchildren, farmers, housewives. According to reviews of guests of the exhibition, it has become a documentary temporary slice of Kazakhstan society.
- The exhibition gathered the most titled photographers of Almaty, painting academics, professors, public figures, philanthropists, architects, prominent lawyers, musicians and sportsmen known throughout the country and became a major cultural event in the life of the city. Director of the Ulytau museum-reserve Bakhtiyar Kozhakhmetov and archaeologist Aydar Iskakov arrived to support Dmitry as well.
- At the exhibition among the speakers there was well-known businessman, philanthropist and social activist Margulan Seisembayev, professor of Motion Picture Arts Academy, Chairman of photo club "Medeo" Valery Korenchuk, public figure and organizer Azhar Dzhandosova, academician of Kazakhstan Academy of Arts Vladimir Psarev, director of Arman cinema center Baurzhan Shukenov, Chairman of the photo club "Photoonir" Asylkhan Abdiraim.
