 Nauryz - holiday of spring!

On March 22, the Ulytau Reserve Museum won the first place at the annual cultural event in honor of the spring Nauryz holiday held by the Akimat of the Ulytau district.
The kind and bright holiday of Nauryz symbolizes the harmony between man and nature, which is reflected in traditions, customs and signs. The celebration of Nauryz is noted for its high importance for the preservation and transfer of cultural heritage and national values ​​to the future generation. In order to promote the cultural heritage in the village of Ulytau, mass festivities and performances are held, one of which is the contest "Armsyn, Nuarryz” where the organizations of the district participate to present the traditions and customs of the Kazakhs on the day of the spring holiday. The contest highly appreciates the meaningful performance with deep meaning, the level of mastery of performance, the colorfulness of national clothes, the production of national dishes and the festive decoration of yurts.
The reserve-museum "Ulytau", having fulfilled all the conditions of the competition, excelled in the elegant design of the yurt. Also, a festive table was laid, where the tradition of "Konak kutu" was presented and national dishes - besbarmak, kazi carta, stinging, baursaks, Nauryz-skin. From the tradition, the staff of the museum showed a master class on the ancient technology of making flour, wheat and various cereals.
